Short term car leasing
If you need a car for a certain amount of time, up to twelve months, but you do not want to actually buy a car and you are not trying to use a daily rental, which would actually be rather expensive, then the only option you have is a short term car leasing. Also known as short term contract hire, short term car leasing is an opportunity to lease a car for a time anywhere up to twelve months from only seventeen days, which is the shortest known offered lease term. Most companies offer only short term leases from three to twelve months, but other offers, like the ones from Renault and Peugeot directly, offer the deal starting with seventeen or twenty eight days respectively. Why would you consider such an offer? Is it not much better to actually rent to buy a car? Here is no provision left, where you can actually buy the car, after you have driven it for, say, three months. The catch is that you may, as a businessman, be out to impress people with your appearance. Many entertainment figures do such deals, because they drive all the luxury cars, pretending they own them, but it’s nothing but a show, hence show business, driving them for a few months then picking something else, that is currently trendy. The difference in lease costs between a luxury car and a regular sedan are not that high as one would expect, so even executive officers of a lower caliber can afford to pimp up their appearance with such a high level vehicle. The other reason may be that you go for a short term job to, let’s say France, and you will stay there for two months working on a project. You’ll need a car, but you don’t want to transport your car or buy a car and then have to sell it in two months time. Sometimes companies which hire people on such a short term contracts, by the way, this happens a lot in construction business or entertainment business, lease a car for the time the short term employee is in town. You may also want to switch cars every month. Driving a different car every month sends a clear message out, it’s a statement of wealth and power and many people think that this show helps them doing their business. It is also a wonderful possibility to check out all possible cars that you consider purchasing, renting them for a week does not really give you a clear picture if this car is the ultimate car for you.
